The St. Mary's Men's Club was founded in 1981 to provide the men of St. Mary's Parish with opportunities for fellowship through spiritual, service, and social activities; and through those opportunities provide support and assistance to the Parish as a whole. We have grown to over 300 members.
There are many worthwhile ministries at St. Mary's. The Men's Club is the easiest ministry for the men of St. Mary's to get more involved in Parish life. We encourage and welcome the men of St. Mary's to get involved in the Men's Club and our activities; including our Golf League, which is held on Mondays at Ellsworth Meadows.
If you are interested in joining the Men's Club, please stop by the Parish office to pick up an application or stop in at one of our meetings or events and introduce yourself. Our meetings are typically held at 7:00 PM on the 3rd Sunday of each month. We serve food & refreshments and have a guest speaker, as well. There is no general meeting in the months of July, August, and December.
The meaning of our logo:
SERVICE is represented with red, the color of passion, action, blood you could say, to represent the human element. The Men’s Club does shed some blood and sweat in all the hard work, food preparation and ministries it takes upon itself. Action, Services all done in Love for the parish and our Lord---the color RED.
SOCIAL is represented by blue, the color of “male”. Men Blue, women, pink. It is a relaxing and calming color, the color of our social events--- golf league, nights out----which reflect brotherhood, fun, camaraderie and relaxation---the color BLUE.
SPIRITUAL is represented by gold—the divine color, haven’s gates and the crown on our Savior’s head when he does return in the future---the color GOLD.
The background is green, representing the world in which we live---our environment, the earth, our lives and the people we are involved with on a daily basis.
The radiating lines represent US—the Men of our Club, taking these three aspects of our lives out to the world. Going out to SERVE others---going out a group to build relationships within our Club and fraternity—going out to spread the SPIRITUALITY we are taught and nurtured with from St. Mary Parish out to the World.
