The Children's Choir (First through Eighth grades) will begin practicing Thursdays at 6 PM on September 15. They will sing at 9:30 on the first Sunday of the month and at 11:30 on the third Sunday of each month.

The Children's Choir has been in existence for about twelve years under the direction of Carol McCarthy. The mission is to provide music for Masses with children by children. First graders on up are invited to join. Some very enthusiastic kindergarteners have joined in the past as well, but some reading ability is helpful as well as a good attention span. |

Rehearsals are usually on Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The choir sings twice a month at Sunday Mass. See this year's schedule for exact times. Changes do occur and notices will be given at rehearsal and noted her on line. |

In addition to singing fun and Mass participation, the choir offers children a club-like format. Socials are planned and field trips are offered to those interested. Newsletters are passed out to choir members at each rehearsal with notes on music we're learning, information about choir members and spiritual thoughts. The newsletters collected in a choir folder presented to each member form a lovely memory book at the end of the school year. |

| Awards for participation are presented at a program the last Sunday of the school year singing schedule. |
