Core Staff

LIFE TEEN CORE STAFF is a group of fun-loving, young-at-heart adults who commit to working with the teens every Sunday, praying with them at the LIFE TEEN liturgy, and challenging them at the LIFE Nights that follow.  We have adults of all ages on the team.  They go on LIFE TEEN retreats, and participate in other events with the teens, throughout the year.

Core Staff members are not the parents of high-school teens, but many of them are parents!  It is intentional that we do not have parents of teens on Core.  We have found that it is harder for teens to be themselves and stretch in terms of their faith with their parents watching.

Core Staff members have discerned at length about this ministry, which becomes their main commitment for the year.  They receive clear guidelines during their formation on how to minister to the teens appropriately and effectively, and they learn about the teen culture.
